NOTICE: Due to renovations, beginning January 3, 2018: Court for JDR and GDC for the City of Falls Church will be held in Arlington at 1425 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201.

The Office of the Clerk of Court has also relocated to the Arlington County Courthouse effective Monday, March 19, 2018. The new, temporary address is 1425 N Courthouse Rd., Suite 2400, Arlington VA 22201.

Parties who wish to file civil cases should contact the Clerk's Office for appropriate court dates.

Continuance Policy

JDR continuances granted as follows: traffic by Clerk, all others must be approved by judge. GD continuances granted as follows: criminal felonies by agreement with the Commonwealth's Attorney and approved by judge; criminal misdemeanors/DWI/reckless must be approved by Judge;civil continuances by agreement of both parties and approved by the Judge.
