Continuance Policy

Traffic cases will be continued by the clerk's office one time to the officer's next court date. All other continuances by the court. Criminal cases will be continued with the approval of the Commonwealth's Attorney. Civil cases will be continued by the clerk's office one time with agreement of both parties. All other continuances by the court. Custody and support cases will be continued by the clerk's office one time with sufficient time for all parties to receive proper notice. All other continuances by the court.
