Continuance Policy

CIVIL: Contested cases are scheduled for trial &, once set for trial, only Judge can grant continuance. Uncontested cases can be continued once by Clerk. CRIMINAL & TRAFFIC: Any continuance beyond 60 days from date of offense granted only by Judge. Within the 60 days, first continuance can be granted by Clerk.
