Continuance Policy

Criminal and traffic cases must be submitted to the Commonwealth's Attorney for approval. Civil cases need the signatures of all parties involved. All continuance requests must be approved by the Judge and must be submitted on the continuance request form, which may be obtained from the Clerk's Office.
