Assignments of Error

1. The court erred when it ruled that it was making a determination whether or not Mr. Wood met the criteria for commitment on the date of the initial hearing rather than on the date of the de novo trial at the circuit court as required by Virginia Code § 37.2-821 (2012).
2. The court erred when it accepted the Virginia Preadmission Screening Report in full, including the hearsay contained within, contrary to Virginia Code § 37.2-816 (2012).
